I did it!!!!
Thank you all for your support and your donations! I could not have done it without you! I can't wait for next year, and I hope some of you will join my team to walk! Posted by Picasa
These were the last few steps we took, people had blisters and road rash and were in so much pain, but I bet they would have done 60 more miles for this cause!

The Pink Teachers Finish!

My family came to support me at the closing ceremonies!

I thought this picture summed up the entire weekend! As the 200 survivors that walked in the 3 Day came into the closing ceremonies, everyone took off their shoes and raised them to the sky to show how much we care for them. The event raised $4.6 million dollars, and donations were still coming in. There were 1700 walkers. Posted by Picasa
We made so many friends along the way. We cried we laughed and we listened to everyone's story. What an amazing event this was and I can't wait for next year!

We had so many supporters along the way. Including my sweet family! They came bearing signs, hugs, and kisses!

This was one of the cheering stations. It was hard to make it through here without shedding a few tears!

Here we are with the Pink Ladies. These sweep van drivers were full of energy!
This crew lady had a great sense of humor! Posted by Picasa
The crew did a phenominal job of keeping us entertained and laughing.

They had safety teams riding their motorcycles from intersection to intersection all along the trail to keep us safe on the cross walks.

The Sweep Vans played music and cheered us on every step of the way. The would also make an occasional stop for those that couldn't make it. Posted by Picasa
Charron and I completed Day 1!

They had a billboard made for us along the way.

Charron and I couldn't resist the beautiful scenery around us. This was a perfect photo op!

We even met some celebrities. Reginald Roundtree and Heather Van Ness did the walk with us. They were really nice and such troopers! Posted by Picasa
This was the camp, we stayed at Walter Fuller Park.
Everyone was all bundled and crashed out in their tents

The showers were nice and hot, and not as bad as I was expecting. I was just so happy to get a hot shower at the end of the day I don't think it mattered much to me.

Drink, Eat, Pee
These were the lovely potties we had to use along the way. They did a good job of keeping them clean and full of toilet paper. They also had little handi wipes for us to wash our hands.

There were pit stops every couple miles and they kept our bellies and our water bottles full.
